Gr-r-r-r-r-r-r-r The Nerve

Fri May 5, 2006, 12:41 PM
Last day of work....Yea!! but....... get this. 12:15Pm he asks me if I have my shirts with me...Uh no. Could you go home and get them? :-X They aren't clean, I can just drop them by next week after I wash them. He wouldn't hear of it. I have to travel 20 miles out of my way to get my shirts and bring them back to work. I can't believe that. It's not like I was going to keep the shirts if they wanted them. I should have told him I need money for gas. It took the whole 45 minutes too. What a jerk! Okay, I'm done. That sure felt good.

I can't wait. I am so excited.:floating: I can wear people clothes to work now. I am going to make myself some cool looking clothes. I might even go out and buy myself a new outfit this weekend. I have so many plans for the extra money. I want to start saving up to take my honey on a cruise. I think that would be so fun. We have never done anything like that... If I play my cards right, I could get together with my boss here at the college and we could go on the cruise with he and his wife... that would be so fun. They want to go on an Alaskan cruise in 2 years. Then I am going to save up for a Power book Apple computer. I am really going to have to be careful and save...save...save!!!

Hello! This is Jenny Mellen

The purpose of art, surely, is not merely to depict
or represent reality—for that can be accomplished very easily with a camera—but
to enhance, transcend, or indeed even to distort reality.

Art for art's sake, with no purpose, for any purpose perverts art. But art achieves a purpose which is not its own. [1804]

I blame the weather man. He should have known better.

YOu're not weird...And if you are considered weird then I take the cake... Besides life is a lot more interesting that way. Don't you think? I figure it this way... I'm less likely to go insane if I act this way.:nana: I wish there was an emoticon that stuck his finger up to his mouth and moved it up and down between his lips. That would be the perfect emoticon for the way I feel. Oh well. Here's to being crazy...:eyes:

Haha, I know exactly what you mean. I think it takes a little bit of insanity to stay sane in this modern world. Especially in some workplaces, I'd be doomed if I wasn't a bit mad at where I work. Some people call me crazy for even wanting to work in a residential home. But, I say, what the hey? If this is what my calling is, it's what it is. ^^

What do you do? I work in a printing shop. I may as well be the only one that works there because my boss doesn't even show up untill 11:00 or 12:00 and we open at 9:00. I'm there all by myself *Oh wo is me* Being by myself is horrible for me. I need the interaction with another person. But then again, when he is there, he practically ignores me.:ignore: Plus they won't even let me run the press. I go to competition and win 4th in the nation for graphics and they won't even accknowlege I can do these things :frustrated: You can tell me if I'm ranting...... I am:blahblah: I need to shut up.

TGIF. I need it, it has been a long week.:relax:Too bad it's not warm enough to go the beach.*like we have a beach close by*

Rant all you want, I like dealing with other people's issues. It's a hobby of mine, but I take it very seriously. :)

Sounds like a bad job. I'm a Carer myself, look after old folks being 'put out to pasture' as some of them would say. It's a tough, demanding job, that takes a lot of patience sometimes, but I fit in well. ^_^ It's very enjoyable, I find.

I envy you about the beach. Even if I did live near one, it's always too cold around here to do anything about it. England's weather system is so lame. :(
